The Mindfulness and Stress Reduction course is a 4-week long course that contains many of the essential components taught in the 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course. This online course was designed to meet the needs of those with busy schedules, people who live in rural areas and do not have easy access to local courses and those who are unable to travel.
Like the MBSR course you will learn how stress impacts the body and mind and how to cultivate your inner resources to find a deeper sense of ease and peace of mind. You will learn about mindful eating and will practice almost all of the meditations that you would in the MBSR course. You will participate and practice gentle yoga for all skill levels regardless of physical limitations as everything can be modified to suit your needs. This course is different than MBSR as the amount of time you are asked to practice meditation at home is cut in half, however you may wish to practice meditation longer if you wish. MBSR provides a 6 hour retreat with extended periods of silence where as in this course the last session will be 2.5 hours and there will be an intentional period of silence.

Additional email support to answer questions and work with challenges
Playback will be available for 6 days following the close of each class. It is very important to attend the last class, however if you must miss there will be an audio recording. You will have permanent access to the guided mediations provided via email.
